One of the best ways to feel 'at home' at Banchory Christian Fellowship Church is to get involved.
We would encourage anyone who calls Banchory Christian Fellowship Church their 'home' church to get involved in serving in some way and to become a 'Church Member'. This lets the leadership and other members of our church know that they are committed in attendance, giving, prayer and service. |
Why serve?
We want to be the kind of people who generously give our time, energy, skills and resources to serve God and extend His kingdom. All our ministries and activities rely upon people giving their time generously to serve, often working as part of a team. Church is not about a few people doing all the work and everyone else watching. It works best when everyone takes part and shares the ownership, responsibility and passion, so we can serve our community with generosity and compassion.
Who can serve?
Anyone who is a Christian and who has been coming to Banchory Christian Fellowship Church for a while and who is willing and able to serve! There are are lots of different ways of serving within the life of the church for example greeting people as they arrive at church, helping with set up or serving refreshments, cleaning and maintenance, music and audio-visuals and more! However some teams including children, youth, worship and prayer ministry have some additional requirements.
Often the best way to think through how you might volunteer is to talk to people who know you well about your skills and gifts.
