I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,
holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship

(Romans 12:1)
Worship is an everyday activity. It is an attitude that shapes all aspects of our lives, affecting everything we think, say and do. Musical worship is just one aspect of worship. It has a special place in the church, providing a vehicle with which to express our love and adoration of God, both individually and corporately.
When we come together to worship at church, we enter into the very presence of the holy God and seek to glorify Him as adopted members of his family. We rejoice that we are forgiven through the cross of Jesus Christ and empowered for his service by the Holy Spirit. We use a wide variety of styles of music in our services, from traditional hymns to contemporary worship songs. A small group of musicians help to lead the worship. A feature of our services is the enthusiastic singing. While there is no regular choir, a number of people enjoy singing harmony in the services, and we assemble a group of singers for the Christmas carol service and other special occasions. |
